Son Brull (Mallorca)

Son Brull es, sin duda, uno de esos lugares que merece la pena visitar no solo por la gastronomía, sino también por el entorno. Ubicado en una antigua finca del siglo XVIII, rodeada de viñedos, olivos y campo mallorquín, al pie de la Serra de Tramuntana, el lugar tiene un encanto especial y transmite mucha tranquilidad. Además de poder disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica más elaborada en su restaurante 3/65, Son Brull ofrece en el Bistro una propuesta más informal, con una carta muy variada que permite elegir entre tapas, platos mediterráneos, arroces, pescado, carne y diferentes opciones para compartir. La calidad del producto es muy buena y la cocina está bien elaborada, con una propuesta que apuesta por producto fresco y local. Teniendo en cuenta la calidad tanto de la comida como del entorno, me parece que ofrece una relación calidad-precio bastante aceptable. El servicio fue también muy bueno, con un personal especialmente atento y agradable durante toda la comida. Tan solo diría que fueron algo lentos entre los platos, aunque, estando de vacaciones y en un entorno como este, esa tranquilidad incluso puede llegar a agradecerse.

Son Brull is undoubtedly one of those places worth visiting not only for the food, but also for its surroundings. Set in a beautiful 18th-century estate surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and the Mallorcan countryside, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, the setting has a special charm and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. In addition to the more elaborate gastronomic experience offered at its 3/65 restaurant, Son Brull also has a Bistro with a more informal approach and a very varied menu, including tapas, Mediterranean dishes, rice dishes, fish, meat and different options to share. The quality of the produce is very good and the cooking is well executed, with a clear focus on fresh, local ingredients. Considering both the quality of the food and the setting, I found the value for money quite reasonable. The service was also very good, with particularly attentive and friendly staff throughout the meal. The only thing I would mention is that the service was somewhat slow between courses, although when you are on holiday and enjoying a setting like this, that relaxed pace can actually be quite welcome.
