L’escrivania (Mallorca)

Ubicado en pleno centro de Porreres, en un edificio histórico con muchísima personalidad, L’Escrivania es uno de esos restaurantes que sorprenden ya desde el lugar. El edificio, que durante siglos fue Ayuntamiento y posteriormente mercado e incluso prisión, conserva parte de su estructura original y algunos detalles de su historia, lo que le da un ambiente realmente especial. La cocina apuesta por el producto local y por una propuesta de inspiración mallorquina y mediterránea, con una carta no muy extensa pero variada y con platos bien elaborados. El producto es de muy buena calidad y disfrutamos mucho de la comida. Los postres caseros son además otro de sus puntos fuertes. El servicio fue muy bueno, con un personal amable y atento durante toda la comida, dándonos unas sugerencias totalmente acertadas, tanto en cuanto a los platos como a la cantidad de cada uno de ellos. La relación calidad-precio nos pareció bastante adecuada teniendo en cuenta lo que ofrecen.

Located in the heart of Porreres, in a historic building with a great deal of character, L’Escrivania is one of those restaurants that impresses you from the moment you arrive. The building, which served for centuries as the Town Hall and was later used as a market and even a prison, still retains part of its original structure and some details of its history, giving it a truly special atmosphere. The cuisine focuses on local produce and a Mallorcan and Mediterranean-inspired approach, with a menu that is not too extensive but offers a good variety of well-executed dishes. The quality of the ingredients is very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The homemade desserts are another of its highlights. The service was very good, with friendly and attentive staff throughout the meal, giving us excellent recommendations, both regarding the dishes and the appropriate quantities to order. We found the value for money quite reasonable considering what they offer.
